Lorant Andras Szolga currently works at the Department of Bases of Electronics, Universitatea Tehnica Cluj-Napoca. Lorant does research in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Communication Engineering. Their current project is 'DAM-FU - "Intelligent system of dams behavior monitoring with the fusion of information"'.

Prof. Dr. Eng. Taher Rajab Kaddar, Damascus University, Syria
Professor Dr. Eng. Member of staff of Department of Textile Industries Mechanical Engineering and Their Techniques in Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering , Damascus University, Syria. He holds a QMS Lead Auditor certificate for quality management systems from the British Standards Institute (BSI), 1996, registered in the International Register of Certified Auditors (IRCA, London 1996/1182437). The Syrian Arab Standards and Metrology Organization 8/1997. It has been updated according to the new version of the ISO9001:2015 standard from the American organization Exemplar Global - Auditors & Training Provider Certification.

Prof. Bo Jie, The University of Tokyo, Japan
He received his B.E., M.E. and PhD degrees in electrical engineering from Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, China, in 2009, Yokohama National University, Japan, in 2017, and 2022, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engi-neering and Information Systems Graduate School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo, Japan. He is also a Visiting Researcher with Tokyo University of Science, Japan. He is an editor of the Journal of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan (IEEJ), Energies. He is a member of IEEJ, J-PVS and IEEE. His current research interests cover electric power system operation and control, including electric power system economics, power market mechanisms, system evolutionary computation, and optimization.

Dr. Grigoras Gheorghe, Technical University of Iasi, Romania
Dr. Grigoras Gheorghe currently works at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Energetics and Applied Informatics, Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi. Grigoras does research in Electrical Engineering. Their current project is 'Impact of the distributed generation on optimal operation and planning of the electrical networks'.

Prof. Florina Scarlatache has published more than 70 refereed scientific and technical papers in international journals and conferences and 8 books chapters which addresses on micro-grid planning and integration of renewable energy sources. Her current research activities focus on the power systems, operation, planning and optimal control of distributed generation in micro-grids associated with decision making methodologies in optimal planning and operation of hybrid energy systems (HES).

Dr. Quah Hock Jin, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia
Dr. Quah Hock Jin has been working as a senior lecturer at the Institute of Nano Optoelectronics Research and Technology (INOR), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) since December 2018. He received his BEng (Hons) in Materials Engineering from School of Materials and Mineral Resources Engineering (SMMRE), USM in 2008. He graduated with PhD (2014) and MSc (2010) in Electronics Materials from SMMRE, USM under the sponsorship of “The USM Vice Chancellor’s Award 2011” and “USM Fellowship”, respectively. Immediately after graduation, he worked as post-doctoral fellow at INOR, USM and Institute of Advanced Technology (ITMA), Universiti Putra Malaysia. After completing his tenure as post-doctoral fellow, he continued his career as a metal-organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) engineer in Collaborative Research in Engineering, Science, & Technology (CREST), with the responsibility of managing and controlling the MOCVD system located at INOR, USM for the “GaN on GaN” national project.
